Digital receipts wallet

Recibo

Recibo overview

Recibo, listed on Google Play as TGT Wallet, is a digital receipts wallet that keeps every purchase record in one simple app. Instead of stuffing paper receipts into bags and drawers, users scan, save and find them on their phone. It brings digital receipts, expense tracking, warranty details, subscriptions and rewards together in a single wallet.

The core flow is deliberately short. A shopper scans the QR code on a supported receipt, claims it and saves it to their wallet. From that moment the proof of purchase is organised and easy to find, ready for a warranty claim, a repair, a return or a refund. There is no manual typing and no need to photograph crumpled paper.

Each saved receipt keeps the purchase details together and, where the merchant provides them, warranty and guarantee information along with return, refund and replacement terms. Users can quickly see what they bought, when and where, and can understand their spending over time. Warranty and return information always depends on the details supplied by the participating merchant, and the app shows exactly what the merchant has shared.

Typical use cases include electronics and appliances with warranties, clothing and accessories with return windows, and everyday purchases where users simply want a record for budgeting. Because everything lives in one wallet, a user can answer questions such as where did I buy this, how much did it cost and is it still under warranty within seconds. Keywords that describe the app include digital receipts app, receipt wallet, warranty tracker and expense manager.

Recibo was designed and developed by Sathwara Infotech, a mobile app development company in Ahmedabad, and is published on Google Play for Android. It is a good example of a practical fintech and retail-tech app: a small, focused idea that solves an everyday problem, backed by a clean interface and a reliable back end.

The challenge behind Recibo

Almost everyone has been there. A product stops working, or needs to be returned, and the paper receipt is nowhere to be found. Thermal paper fades within months, bags and drawers fill up, and the one document that proves the purchase disappears at exactly the wrong moment.

Warranty and return terms make the problem worse. They are usually printed in small text, they differ from merchant to merchant, and they are easy to forget. As a result customers often do not know what they are entitled to, or until when. Even shoppers who keep every receipt find it hard to search through them when it matters.

Everyday money management has a similar gap. Expenses are spread across many shops and payment methods, subscriptions renew quietly, and there is rarely one place that shows the full picture. Paper receipts also create clutter and waste, something more shoppers and merchants want to reduce.

The challenge was to design a digital wallet that removes this friction without adding new work for the customer. It needed to be quick enough to use at the till, clear enough for any age group and trustworthy enough that people are comfortable storing their purchase history in it. It also needed to work with merchant-provided receipt data so that warranty and return details could be shown accurately.

Our solution for Recibo

We built Recibo around one fast action: scan the QR code on a supported receipt, claim it and it is saved. That single step replaces filing, photographing and typing. Every receipt lands in an organised list that is easy to search, so finding proof of purchase takes seconds instead of a drawer search.

Each receipt stores the purchase details and, where the merchant has provided them, warranty and guarantee information and the return, refund and replacement terms. Showing these next to the receipt means a customer can check their rights without hunting for a policy page or calling the shop.

To make the wallet useful beyond storage, we added spending insights so users can understand where their money goes, along with support for managing subscriptions and earning rewards. These features turn a simple receipt store into a daily-use app, which is what keeps people coming back.

The interface is clean and focused on speed: scan, save and search. We designed the screens for clarity, tested them on a range of Android devices and published the app on Google Play. Recibo shows how a small, well-scoped idea can become a polished product.

Privacy and reliability were priorities from the start. A wallet holds personal purchase history, so the app is built to store only what is needed and to present it clearly to its owner. We also designed a smooth first run with an obvious scan button, because the fastest way to build a habit is to make the first receipt effortless.

If you are planning a wallet app, a receipts or expense tracking app, or any mobile product that connects with merchants through QR codes, Sathwara Infotech can help you take it from idea to launch on Android and iOS.
